In 2015 we assisted Ward & Co. Building Conservation with the complete interior and exterior re-decoration of Stonor Chapel, near Henley-on-Thames. This was the first re-decoration since 1956 and careful paint analysis was required by Rose Of Jericho to determine what paint had been applied in the past and what to use for this application. We used Rose Of Jericho soft distemper to the ceiling and walls.
Decorative restoration of the front elevation of Poynatts Manor, Skirtmett following the removal of ivy to the whole facade. The masonry was jet-washed and locally re-pointed. The sash windows were eased, repaired and re-decorated with Dulux Weathershield. The cement rendered porch required extensive re-rendering to the roof and faces. Dulux weathershield masonry paint was applied as a basecoat to the porch followed by a scumble glaze to provide a distressed effect. This was protected with several coats of suitable varnish. The front doors were stripped, sanded and varnished with an exterior satin varnish.
